Common questions

How do I invite someone?

Open the list and tap +. Tap Share invite to create a code, then Send invite link to share it. Only the person who created the list can invite. Each code works once, for seven days, so create one per person.

How do I join a list?

On the start screen, tap Join shopping list, enter the code and tap Join. Opening an invitation link on your phone fills in the code for you.

How do I leave a list, or remove someone?

To leave a list someone shared with you, swipe it left on the start screen and tap Leave. If you created the list, tap the members icon in the list to see who's in it and remove people. They lose access right away.

What can I do with items?

Tap an item to check it off. Hold it to rename it, swipe left to delete it, and swipe right to mark it with a colour. Clear list, next to Add item, removes every item. Tap i in the app for the full list of gestures.

How do notifications work?

The person who created the list turns them on under Members, in List settings. Everyone else then gets a notification when someone adds an item, at most once an hour per person. Your phone asks for permission the first time.

Which list do the widgets open?

Your first favourite (A to Z), or the newest list if you have no favourites. Star a list by swiping it right on the start screen.

Is there a limit?

A list holds up to 250 items and 50 members. You can own up to 100 lists.

How do I delete my account?
