We're currently building oscar. — a personal life OS.

oscar. gathers the tools a small company or solo entrepreneur actually runs on — notes, documents, calendar, email, contacts, budget, invoicing, a photo library, and an end-to-end encrypted vault — into a single web application. One login, one interface, everything in one place, owned entirely by its user.

The design brief is restraint: paper-and-ink typography, hairlines instead of chrome, and interactions that feel native on a phone. Under the surface it's a modern web stack — Next.js on Vercel, Postgres on Supabase — built security-first: two-factor authentication throughout, per-row access control on every table, private storage for files and photos, and sharing only through expiring, revocable links.

Alongside the OS, its publishing module powers our content sites — taking an article from
research to a finished, illustrated, published piece through an automation pipeline we built in-house.

oscar. is a single-user product today, built for and tested by one person every day. Whether it
becomes more is a question for later — right now, it's the best tool we've ever had for running the day-to-day.
